DescriptionEmeralds have long been a gem of fascination and lure for centuries on end. Widely considered one of the most beautiful and valuable gemstones in the world, carat for carat, fine emeralds are often two to three times as valuable as diamonds. Sometimes called holy, other times royal, emeralds have oftentimes in history been reserved only for the richest and most powerful. While there are other green gems like tourmalines and peridots, it is the emerald that is always associated with the lushest landscapes and the richest greens. Emeralds are known to inspire creativity, give infinite patience, as it embodies unity, compassion and unconditional love. |
